To be a really good rv'er you need to be cognizant of the different life styles of the many people you will encounter on the road. That is especially true of truck drivers. We are a nomadic breed and and unlike people who travel in rv's and motor homes we are very protective of our parking spaces in rest stops. Please remember that you can use a camp ground to stop for the night and we cannot. When you stay overnight in a reststop parking space you are depriving a truck driver a space. THANK YOU MUCHLY FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION.

Hi Sally,

Nice site! We also love Port Orford and will be spending three months there this summer beginning on June 25. Before we began full timing in early 2006 we would visit this area every fall, usually staying out at Cape Blanco State Park.

We hope to see you someplace down the road...safe travels,

Gordon and Juanita Pierce

Wow that sounded like fun! Hope the carpet is easier are you having someone else install it or doing it yourselves? We are moved into our 2004 5th wheel now all except the last load, hope it all fits and isn't too heavy! Will start eliminating before we travel if I need to. Enjoyed your blog.

Well mine is a 2004 and I will keep it for a long time! That older Motorhome if bought reasonably enough and kept up will last a long time too and still not have as much into it as a "new" one.
